Rise to new dimensions with KNAPP at IMHX 2025

KNAPP AeroBot

KNAPP will be inviting visitors to rise to new dimensions at IMHX 2025, where the company will promote its portfolio of award-winning technologies for handling totes, cartons, pallets, flat packs and hanging garments.

The exhibits on stand D96 will include KNAPP’s brand-new storage technology, AeroBot. Launched at LogiMAT earlier this year, where it won the coveted Best Product award, AeroBot features intelligent storage bots that move in three dimensions: lengthwise and crosswise on the floor and vertically by climbing the racks.

Controlled by KNAPP’s KiSoft software, the bots can access any area of the system and work independently of one another, resulting in high availability and reliable operation. Handling containers weighing up to 35 kg in racks up to 12 m high, they store goods four deep to maximise storage density, and the system can work around beams, slanted walls and sloping ceilings to make the most of existing space.

Created with simplicity in mind, from startup to maintenance, AeroBot’s intelligent design means it is easy to implement and goes live quickly. Standardised components simplify maintenance and reduce servicing costs. The system can grow as required, by adding more locations for storage space or more bots to boost performance.

The KNAPP team will also be promoting the company’s high-performance Evo Shuttle automated storage solution at IMHX. Used to store, pick, buffer, supply and sequence an incredibly wide variety of items – including chilled and frozen products – more than 600 Evo Shuttle systems and over 60,000 shuttles have been installed worldwide. Alongside AeroBot and Evo Shuttle, completing KNAPP’s formidable lineup for automated storage are the Fastbox rapid buffer tower, the KNAPP-Store solution for single items and the company’s lightweight stacker cranes for pallet handling.

Other KNAPP technologies that will be highlighted to visitors at IMHX include the Pick-it-Easy Robot automated fulfilment system and the Open Shuttle automated mobile robots (AMRs). KNAPP will also present its proven software solutions – the KiSoft suite, SAP® EWM by KNAPP and redPILOT – which significantly boost efficiency during system operation and maintenance. Many of KNAPP’s software tools are supercharged by AI, including KiSoft Genomix for managing master data; KiSoft Analytics for real-time analysis and visualisation of client data; and redPILOT for simplifying and automating labour management and resource planning

At IMHX the KNAPP team will also be promoting KiSoft@Cloud, the company’s Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution. This approach allows companies to secure all the benefits of a powerful and secure WMS without the high cost of IT infrastructure and expertise. With SaaS, a warehouse can be digitalised quickly and easily, and customers benefit from regular updates and new functionality at no additional cost.

“We aim to be the value chain tech partner of choice for leading brands,” says Craig Rollason, Managing Director of KNAPP UK. “This means we are a technology partner for the entire value chain – all the interlinked business activities from production to the end user.
