KNAPP will be inviting visitors to rise to new dimensions at IMHX 2025, where the company will promote its portfolio of award-winning technologies for handling totes, cartons, pallets, flat packs and hanging garments.
The exhibits on stand D96 will include KNAPP’s brand-new storage technology, AeroBot. Launched at LogiMAT earlier this year, where it won the coveted Best Product award, AeroBot features intelligent storage bots that move in three dimensions: lengthwise and crosswise on the floor and vertically by climbing the racks.
Controlled by KNAPP’s KiSoft software, the bots can access any area of the system and work independently of one another, resulting in high availability and reliable operation. Handling containers weighing up to 35 kg in racks up to 12 m high, they store goods four deep to maximise storage density, and the system can work around beams, slanted walls and sloping ceilings to make the most of existing space.
Created with simplicity in mind, from startup to maintenance, AeroBot’s intelligent design means it is easy to implement and goes live quickly. Standardised components simplify maintenance and reduce servicing costs. The system can grow as required, by adding more locations for storage space or more bots to boost performance.
